You can find our highly curated selection of vintage by walking through our doors and experiencing the extensive history told through fashion & accessories or by paroozing our online store. We bring you authentic, hand-picked gems that date as far back as the 1800s and as recent as the 1990s.
meet the owner: Lisa doyle
Lisa Garneau Doyle, owner of the store, found a passion for fabric and reselling in the 60’s. She was influenced heavily by her mother who was an at-home seamstress as well as her father who was a landlord of many buildings and apartments.
Doyle would accompany her father to flea markets for used furniture to furnish the apartments he managed- this is where she fell in love with the world of buying and selling. Later in life, after years of moving around America and living overseas, Doyle started collecting her own archive of fabrics and clothing articles from around the world. When she landed back in the U.S. she launched what we all know as The Vintage Vortex, an inclusive portal of vintage bliss for all.
